The Tea Room

Located next to the gift shop, the Woodlands tearoom provides a bright and comfortable atmosphere in which to chat, relax and eat some wonderful home cooked food.

We also offer evening dining for special events and at certain times in the year.

Take Away

The majority of the items on our menu, are available to take away at anytime or can be delivered in the local area by arrangement. We can cater to larger groups of 8 or more for takeaway lunches and afternoon teas but to ensure we can provide the items you are requesting we recommend that you book with us the day before.

Catering and Events

We cater to a wide range of events, including children’s parties, tapas nights, business lunches and outdoor picnics and provide a range of options for pick up or delivery (a small charge may apply). Our set menu is available on the website but we also provide a bespoke catering offer. Option 1 – £8.50 Option 2 – £12.50 Please get in touch to discuss your needs.

The Woodland's Afternoon Tea

Probably the most popular item on the menu.

Our afternoon teas provide a wonderful mix of savoury and sweet homemade treats accompanied by tea and coffee from Carvetti.

Our cream tea includes a sandwich of your choice, with a freshly made scone, jam and clotted cream and includes a pot of tea or other non-alcoholic drink (£12.50 per person)

Our afternoon tea includes a selection of sandwiches, homemade savoury and sweet items and includes a pot of tea or other non-alcoholic drink (£24 per person)

Both options are available to take away or can be purchased as a gift voucher from the tearoom or gift shop.
